Your Mind Matters: Mental Health with Hussain Manawer, Thursday 30th April at 14:00

Join us for a special live stream performance on mental health with Hussain Manawer - poet and mental health activist.

Hussain Manawer is an East London based wordsmith, who is challenging the stigma that exists around the topic of mental health.

Back in 2018, Hussain launched the UK’s largest mental health festival in partnership with Twitter UK at Hackney Empire and received an Honorary Fellowship from King’s College London for his work in mental health and public sciences. Hussain has also set a Guinness World Record for the ‘World’s Largest Mental Health Lesson’.

There will also be a live chat Q&A to round up the session.

With regular programmed classes and an ever changing schedule of digital activations, there's something to appeal to all interests, at your fingertips and from the comfort and safety of your home. Whilst occupiers can access the platform via their White City Place app, the content has been opened up to all, made available for free via Youtube for anyone that would like it.
