White City Place was delighted to host The Circle Partnership for the ‘Voices for Change’ forum this week. The event brought together leaders of charities in White City dedicated to supporting women and young people, offering a collaborative space to share experiences, challenges, and ideas.
The forum focused on addressing unique challenges in the sector, particularly around accessing funding. Many attendees highlighted difficulties navigating corporate funding, lengthy application processes, and the prevalence of restricted funds that don’t meet operational needs such as staffing. While material support such as access to spaces is helpful, direct financial support remains the priority.
Looking ahead, the group proposed hosting a Funders Fair, allowing charities to showcase their work to local corporates with ESG funds. This event would create connections and help charities align their proposals with funders’ needs.
White City Place is proud to support this fantastic initiative and looks forward to facilitating more opportunities to strengthen local charities and their vital work.
