Last week, the studio in Westworks was the perfect location to host Ella from Tie-Dye Drama to run a Play in a Day.
Tie-Dye Drama ran two days of workshops, one on Thursday for 8-12 year olds and one on Friday for 5-8 year olds.
In the workshops, children played fun games to warm up, have fun and get to know each other. They then used props and music to inspire the creation of their own, unique play. They worked individually and collaborated as a team to devise scenes. Parents/carers were invited back to see the interactive and engaging shows!
The workshops were a great success and notable comments were:
“This was so fun! Can I come back tomorrow?”
“Wow! What a cool space!”
“We’re like professional actors in this room!”
“I can’t believe they made that up in an hour!”
