White City Place welcomes the Tokyo College of Sushi and Washoku (Japanese cuisine) in London to the Gateway Central building.
The college is the UK’s first Japanese culinary school and the first outside of Japan dedicated to teaching traditional Japanese cooking techniques and skills with official endorsement from the Japanese government.
Spanning 3,000 sq ft, the college features two advanced kitchens, traditional counter seating, and classrooms. The college will join Michelin-starred sushi restaurant ENDO at the Rotunda, located just next door at Television Centre, enriching White City’s culinary community.
Students at the college will have the opportunity to earn a Professional Diploma in Japanese cuisine over a six-month course, as well as a “Bronze Level Certificate” in Japanese cooking skills recognized by the Japanese government. In addition to mastering culinary techniques, students will also develop proficiency in the Japanese language.
