White City Place hosted local charity FunPact on Tuesday for a festive celebration. The charity focuses on supporting young people and their families facing the challenges of growing up in today’s society.

During the evening celebration, young people and their families played games, quizzes and decorated cakes, enabling the group to discuss and explore modern day challenges in a fun and festive environment. The evening gave funders, families and youth mentors the chance to hear about the impact they’re making on the community.

After the event, one parent said they now felt comfortable enough to allow their child to go shopping with their friend, having met the friend’s parent. This huge step will help the young person to build their confidence and expand their independence.
