White City Place hosted Eat Club in the Terrace Café and onsite Butterscotch kitchen for a Young Leaders’ sustainability event hosted by a plant-based chef. The purpose of the event was to raise, consider and discuss issues around sustainability in food and explore them through cooking.

Eat Club is a London-based charity that teaches young people fundamental cooking and nutrition skills. They have a particular emphasis on working with young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds, where there may have been little or no experience of cooking with fresh produce in the home environment. They run bespoke cooking courses in the kitchens of a London wide network of partners, such as youth projects, community centres, homelessness charities and schools.
